We don’t comment on a hypothetical question.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Guo Jiakun, a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while answering a question about whether China considers sending peacekeeping forces to Ukraine.

According to the spokesperson, China has always upheld a just position on the issue of the Ukraine crisis, and we have made this very clear on multiple occasions.

Guo said that China welcomes all efforts aimed at peace, including the consensus reached by the US and Russia to hold peace talks. "In the meanwhile, we hope that all parties involved and stakeholders can participate in the peace talks process in due course," he said.

It should be noted that The Economist reported earlier that American officials suggested that non-European countries such as Brazil or China send their servicemen to the so-called peacekeeping force in Ukraine after the conflict ends.
