American billionaire Elon Musk has supported Donald Trump's statement on the necessity of holding elections in Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that Musk expressed his opinion on the matter on his X social media page:

"Given that we are supposed to be defending democracy, there should be democracy."

It should be noted that Trump emphasized the need for elections in Ukraine, claiming that approval rating for Volodymyr Zelensky is just 4%. He also stressed that Ukraine must hold elections in order to take a seat at the negotiation table.
