Georgia considers the “3+3” format unacceptable due to Russia’s participation in it.

Axar.az reports that Levan Machavariani, a member of parliament from the ruling Georgian Dream Party, told journalists this.

“Russia, which occupies our territories, participates in the 3+3 format. Of course, we do not intend to sit at any negotiating table with Russia,” Machavariani said.

He recalled no diplomatic or other relations between Russia and Georgia.

It should be noted that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that the doors of the “3+3” platform are open to Georgia.

The “3+3” format is a cooperation format between the three countries of the South Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia) and three neighboring states (Russia, Turkiye, and Iran).
