Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan may run in the next presidential election.

Axar.az reports that the deputy chairman of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), Hüseyin Yayman, said this during a speech in the Turkish city of Antakya.

He said that presidential elections would be held in the country in November 2027.

According to H. Yayman, there is no need for a candidate other than the AKP.
