Following the US withdrawal from the World Health Organization, Israeli lawmakers will discuss the possibility of Tel Aviv taking the same step.

Axar.az reports citing the Times of Israel.

According to a statement from the Knesset, the Health Committee will hold a special debate on Monday on the topic of "Israel's withdrawal from the World Health Organization."

The debate was reportedly planned at the request of members of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud Party, as well as members of parliament from the far-right Religious Zionism and Otsma Yehudit parties.
