Ukraine launches drone attack on Astrakhan region

During the night, Ukrainian forces attempted a large-scale drone attack on facilities in Russia’s Astrakhan region, including a fuel and energy complex, causing a fire at one of the sites.

Axar.az informs the region’s governor, Igor Babushkin, reported the incident.

He stated that one person was injured:

“Electronic warfare and air defense systems operated as normal. A fire broke out when drone debris fell at the site. One person was injured in the attack and has been taken to the hospital. The situation is under control, and emergency service specialists have begun clearing the aftermath.”
