Bangkok earthquake kills 18, 76 missing

The death toll from an earthquake in the Thai capital, Bangkok, has reached 18, with 76 people still missing.

Axar.az reports that the headquarters established to eliminate the consequences of the earthquake issued a statement.

It was reported that all of the missing were people involved in construction in the Chatuchak district, north of Bangkok.

A search and rescue operation is currently underway there.

It should be noted that the death toll in the earthquake in Myanmar has exceeded 1,600.
