Members of the European Union Monitoring Mission to Armenia continue their observations in the border areas with Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that the European observers arrived in the border area with the Zangilan region on May 2. They drove along the road in cars and observed the Azerbaijani territories with binoculars.

Azerbaijani border guards monitored and recorded the movements of the observation mission.

It should be noted that the European Union Monitoring Mission to Armenia regularly conducts observations along the border with Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that the mandate of the 200-member European Union observation mission on the border of Armenia with Azerbaijan has been extended for another two years - until February 19, 2027.
