Pakistan has tested a ballistic missile amid rising tensions with India.

Axar.az informs that the information was reported by the Associated Press.

The publication noted that the missile has a range of 450 kilometers.

It was stated that the launch of the Abdali missile system is aimed at ensuring the operational readiness of the troops and checking the main technical indicators of the missile, including its improved navigation system and maneuverability.

It was emphasized that Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif congratulated scientists, engineers, and those involved in the work on the successful test.
