Germany announces new air defense support for Kyiv

Germany will supply Ukraine with four additional IRIS-T surface-to-air defense systems along with accompanying missiles, as well as 30 more missiles for the Patriot air defense system.

Axar.az reports citing foreign media, This was stated by Germany’s Defense Minister Boris Pistorius in his opening remarks upon arriving at NATO headquarters in Brussels on April 11.

In particular, the assistance includes four additional IRIS-T systems plus 300 guided missiles; 120 MANPADS; 300 reconnaissance drones, 25 more Marder infantry fighting vehicles, 15 Leopard tanks, 14 artillery systems, 100 ground surveillance radars and 100,000 more artillery ammunition, etc.
