Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the village of Nuvedi and told residents that "if the railway (Zangezur corridor - ed.) opens, you will be able to sell tons of pomegranates."
Axar.az reports that these thoughts were expressed by Armenian journalist Narine Kirakosyan.
He said that Pashinyan and his team have openly and aggressively launched a pre-election propaganda campaign:
"They are making business trips at the expense of state funds, deceiving people. Nikol and his wife Anna Hakobyan are teaching the villagers the ideology called "new fashion in education". This is another campaign planned to control the people on a mass scale, carried out at the expense of the budget.
Currently, such an idea is widespread: "Nikol may not be good, but there is no one who can replace him". This idea has been instilled in people through information technologies. Through TikTok, Instagram, and other social networks, people have been given the impression that no leader has visited the villages in the last 30 years and has not communicated directly with ordinary people.
Nikol's trip was prepared in advance through European and international projects. The most important point is that even in places where there is no need to expand the road, these works have been started. Certain works are also being carried out in the Mehri region without Iran's consent."
