Pakistan’s Ishaq Dar expresses hope for India-Pakistan negotiations amid diplomatic efforts.

Axar.az reports that Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, has expressed optimism about the possibility of negotiations with India following international diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions between the two countries.

Speaking to Geo TV, Dar stated that his recent diplomatic engagements have been very positive, and he believes the path to negotiations is now open.

“We are not in favor of war,” he emphasized. “If there is even a drop of rational thought left in India, they should stop. If they stop, we will stop. We do not want destruction.”
