The UN human rights office has expressed alarm over ongoing Israeli military strikes in Lebanon, which continue to cause civilian casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure, even after the November ceasefire.

Axar.az, citing Times of Israel, reports that spokesperson Thameen Al-Kheetan emphasized concerns about civilian protection during a briefing in Geneva.

Israel maintains that its strikes target Hezbollah and other groups it deems terrorist operatives violating the ceasefire, aiming to prevent them from rebuilding their infrastructure in Lebanon.
