Official bodies of the European Union (EU) in Brussels lowered flags to half-mast in connection with the death of Pope Francis.

Axar.az informs that foreign media reported on this.

It was reported that a week of mourning has been declared in the Pope's homeland of Argentina, three days in Spain, and one week in Brazil.

In addition, the lights of the Eiffel Tower in Paris will be turned off today as a sign of respect for the memory of Francis.
