We are expanding cooperation with China within the framework of the "Belt and Road" initiative. Significant successes have already been achieved in this direction.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev said this in an interview with the Chinese Xinhua Agency.

"Taking advantage of its favorable geographical location, Azerbaijan continues to actively develop international transport corridors, create modern infrastructure and make additional investments in increasing its throughput capacity, taking into account the sharp increase in cargo flows through our territory," I. Aliyev noted.
