Israel's cabinet has approved a plan to capture the entire Gaza Strip and remain in the territory for an indefinite period, with the aim of defeating Hamas and securing the release of hostages.

Axar.az, citing AP, reports that the plan includes pushing Palestinians toward southern Gaza and using private security firms to distribute humanitarian aid via logistics hubs, with facial recognition and SMS alerts.

The UN has rejected the aid plan, calling it a violation of humanitarian principles and warning it may force displacement.

Over 52,000 people in Gaza have been killed since the war began, according to Palestinian health officials. The U.S. has reportedly expressed support for Israel’s strategy.
