Iran is waiting for Oman's opinion regarding the Iran-U.S. talks.
Axar.az reports, citing ISNA, the Foreign Ministry spokesman, Esmail Baghaei said this in response to a question about the future of the talks and whether these talks will continue or not: "Iran has shown its commitment to continuing the path of dialogue and diplomacy in practice, and we participated in several rounds of talks with readiness."
He added: "The postponement of the talks was based on Oman's proposal and the understanding of the parties, for the reasons mentioned in the tweets of our foreign minister and the foreign minister of Oman. We are waiting for the Omanis to announce their opinion on the future of the talks. Because we do not have direct contact with the United States and the Omanis will coordinate the time and place of the talks and information will be provided in this regard."
