An exceptionally large plasma explosion was recorded near the south pole of the Sun on Sunday.

Axar.az informs that this was reported on the website of the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

It is reported that a cloud of a rare size and density was formed on the side of the Sun far from the Earth. For this reason, the cloud is not visible from Earth.

According to scientists, this is one of the largest explosions recorded on the Sun in recent years.

The trajectory of the plasma is still being clarified. However, according to experts, it is directed in a different direction from the Earth and probably does not pose a threat to our planet.
