The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has appointed former Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal as the country’s new Minister of Defense.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by Ukrainian media.

Denys Shmyhal’s candidacy, proposed by President Volodymyr Zelensky, received the support of 267 members of parliament.
