Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba may resign in July.

According to the information, the Prime Minister's decision is related to the failure of the Liberal Democratic Party led by him in the elections to the upper house of parliament.

It should be noted that in the elections held on July 20, the ruling bloc of the LDP and the Komeito Party lost their majority in the upper house of parliament.
