Kyrgyz banks have begun to sharply limit settlements with Russian companies.

Axar.az informs that RBK reported this.

According to the report, transfer conditions have worsened since the end of last year: conditions and commissions have increased, and some operations have been blocked altogether.

“In 2023, 93% of cross-border transfers to Kyrgyzstan and 83% of withdrawals fell to Russia. Several large banks, including Bakai Bank, Demir Bank, Optima Bank, and others, have already stopped transfers to Russian banks.”
