Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received Israeli Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan George Dick on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic service in Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry published a statement on this.

It was noted that Minister Jeyhun Bayramov thanked Ambassador George Dick for his fruitful diplomatic activity in our country and wished him success in his future activities.

The meeting discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel, as well as the regional situation.

The cooperation between the two countries in the political, economic, trade, energy, investment, and humanitarian spheres was appreciated, and it was emphasized that relations have broad development prospects.

It was noted that the tense situation in the Middle East region is of serious concern, and our country supports the establishment of peace and stability and is always ready to contribute to this process.

Ambassador George Dick emphasized that he would always remember his 6-year service as Israel's ambassador to Azerbaijan, and thanked him for the support he provided in his activities.

During the meeting, views were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
