Georgia PM meets Azerbaijani FM Bayramov

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze received Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the press service of the Georgian government.

During the meeting, the strategic partnership and good neighborly relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan were discussed, and the positive dynamics of recent years were emphasized.

The parties discussed joint infrastructure and energy projects, highlighting their importance in the development of the Middle Corridor. Attention was also given to trade-economic relations and the positive trends in trade turnover between the two countries.

The current regional situation was also touched upon during the conversation. I. Kobakhidze once again confirmed Georgia’s readiness to contribute to peace and stability in the South Caucasus through dialogue and cooperation.
