Ukraine has proposed holding a meeting between Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky by the end of August.

Axar.az reports that the head of the Ukrainian delegation, Rustam Umerov, spoke about this.

"Russia must demonstrate its readiness. Ukraine continues to insist on a complete and unconditional ceasefire. The ceasefire must include a complete cessation of attacks on civilian and critical infrastructure facilities," Umerov said.

It should be noted that the negotiations in Istanbul took place in both a trilateral and bilateral format.
