US grants Poland $4B military loan guarantee

The Polish and US Defense Ministries have signed an agreement on providing Warsaw with a $4 billion loan guarantee under the Foreign Military Financing program.

Axar.az informs that this was reported in the X account of the Polish Ministry of Defense.

“Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosyniak-Kamysz signed an agreement on providing US loan guarantees to Poland under the Foreign Military Financing program,” the report said.

Kosyniak-Kamysz emphasized at the signing ceremony that Poland has become the largest beneficiary of the US military lending program:

“The US will provide Poland with a $4 billion loan guarantee under the Foreign Military Financing program. The funds will be used to modernize the Polish Armed Forces.”
