Iran bans MPs’ use of mobile phones

The Iranian parliament has banned members of parliament from using mobile phones.

Axar.az reports that the parliament's Presidium has decided to this effect.

The new decision was announced by the speaker of the Iranian parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.

Ghalibaf said that this step is related to security concerns.
