The plane carrying Russian President Vladimir Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov and Vladimir Putin's aide Alexei Dyumin was delayed for several hours due to the "Carpet" plan implemented at St. Petersburg's Pulkovo airport.

Axar.az reports that Kremlin journalist Alexander Yunashev said this.

According to him, Peskov and Dyumin were supposed to take part in the Navy Day exercises in St. Petersburg. The flight, scheduled for 9:30 Moscow time (10:30 Baku time), was postponed due to the Ukrainian drone attack.

The flight was resumed only 2 hours later.
