Azerbaijani violinist Jeyla Seyidova has won Grand Prix of the 2nd International Music Competition in Moscow.

Jeyla started studying music at the age of six. In 2007 she was awarded a special monthly presidential scholarship. In 2010 she became the winner of the Seventh Spivakov International Music Festival. In March 2011, she won the first prize at the Fourth International Competition "Bravo" in the Belgian city of Namur, in June 2014 she won the Seventh International Music Festival in Rhodes, Greece.

In accordance with President Ilham Aliyev’s January 31, 2015 decree, Jeyla Seidova was awarded the Presidential Youth Award.
