If the benefits of this vaccine outweigh the potential risks, I am ready to approve the coronavirus vaccine before the end of the third phase of clinical trials.

Axar.az informs that, the statement came from the head of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Stephen Han (FDA) in an interview with the Financial Times.

"The decision to approve the vaccine before the end of testing is not to please President Donald Trump. It is up to the sponsor (vaccine developer) to apply for a permit or approval. We only give an expert opinion on the use of the vaccine," said Han.
