As reported earlier, a military parade dedicated to Republic Day was held today in Yerevan’s Republic Square.
Axar.az reports that both domestically produced and foreign-made military equipment was showcased during the parade.
The parade opened with the “Volk” robotic system, the “Tuman” radar system designed to detect aerial targets and jam aircraft satellite receivers, France’s “Bastion” and India’s “Tata” armored vehicles, the RBOA infantry rocket launcher, TOS-1A heavy artillery systems, the “Skorpion” and Tor-M2KM air defense missile systems, as well as the “Lusan” air defense system capable of engaging 16 aerial targets simultaneously at a range of up to 25 kilometers, and the “Shchit-200” radar system.
The parade also featured “Kornet” and “Nizak” anti-tank missile systems, locally produced 82 mm “Hrazdan” and 120 mm “Sevan” mortars, the 122 mm “Atlant” multiple-launch rocket system, 122 mm “D-30” howitzers, “Tork” howitzers, 155 mm “Tir” rocket systems, the “Mher” self-propelled artillery unit, the 155 mm “Aramazd” self-propelled artillery system, the “Shant” multiple-launch rocket system, and the “Paylatsu” radar system.
Various drones were also displayed during the parade, including the “Molniya” strike drone and several locally produced UAVs such as the “AW-5A” reconnaissance drone, the “Pchela-5” strike drone, the “SPM-1” reconnaissance drone, the “Dev-1-1” reconnaissance-strike drone, the “Vorot-1” anti-radar system, the “Firtina” reconnaissance drone, the “BIP-10” reconnaissance drone, the “UL-450” reconnaissance drone, the “Dev-4,” “Dev-K,” and “Vorot-2” attack drones, as well as the aircraft-type “Luk” (“Agheg”) UAV, all of which passed through Republic Square.
