The monkeypox virus is spreading faster than before and the death rate is high.

Axar.az reports that this was reported by the representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) Margaret Harris during a briefing in Geneva.

"This virus is considered especially dangerous for people with weak immunity and children. There is currently no specific vaccine against monkeypox, but supportive care is used for patients infected with the virus. The virus spreads mainly through contact," said a WHO official.
