Minister: Monkeypox infection in Turkiye?

No cases of monkeypox infection have been registered in Turkiye.

Axar.az reports that Turkish Health Minister Kemal Mamishoghlu said this.

"Currently, there is no reason for anxiety and panic among our citizens, we have carried out appropriate preparations. So far, the fact of infection with the new monkeypox virus has not been registered in Turkiye," Mamishoghlu said.

It should be noted that the Turkish media reported that a person was quarantined in the city of Sakarya on suspicion of contracting monkeypox.
