A young woman was hit by a mine in the Ararat region of Armenia.

Axar.az reports that Armenian media reported that the woman was hit by a mine explosion while picking greens.

The mother of 3 children was hospitalized. The shocked woman's leg was amputated.

According to the village representative, the woman was taken out of the mined area with great difficulty.

It should be noted that Armenia mined their part of Mount Agri (Ararat) on the border with Turkey, even close to their settlements.
