President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received former Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Abdelsalam al-Majali.

On behalf of King Abdullah II of Jordan, former Prime Minister Abdelsalam al-Majali greeted the head of state and congratulated him on the occasion of the Global Baku Forum. Saying he was happy for Azerbaijan’s great strides in the last years, Abdelsalam al-Majali noted that he was impressed by construction work in the country and the capital.

The sides highlighted the international importance of the fourth Global Baku Forum, emphasized the significance of the yearly increasing interest in the event, and said the forum provided a good opportunity for participants to familiarize themselves with Azerbaijan.

Abdelsalam al-Majali handed a letter of King Abdullah II of Jordan to President Ilham Aliyev.

The head of state thanked for greetings of King Abdullah II, and asked Abdelsalam al-Majali to extend his greetings to the King of Jordan.
