Ilham Aliyev extends his condolences

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has offered his condolences to the Turkish President Receb Tayyib Erdogan in connection with terror attack in Ankara.

The letter of condolences reads as below:

"We were deeply saddened by the news of loss of lives as a result of a terror attack in the city of Ankara.

We are resolutely condemning terrorism and supporting any kind of struggle against it.

On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I extend deepest condolences to bereaved families, loved ones of those who died and the brotherly people of Turkey, and wish the injured swiftest possible recovery.

May Allah rest the souls of the dead in peace!"
