Armenian armed units violated ceasefire using large-caliber machine guns, 60, 82 and 120 mm mortars with Azerbaijan 120 times on various parts of the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenia troops over the past 24 hours, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry informed on May 14.

Armenian armed units stationed in the village Berkaber of Armenia’s Ijevan district, Aygepar village of Berd district fired on the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces in Gizilhajili village of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district, Alibayli village of Tovuz district.

Moreover, Azerbaijani positions located on nameless uplands of Gadabay district came under fire from Armenian positions located on nameless uplands of Krasnoselsk district.

From May 13,18:20 (UTC/GMT +4 hours) to May 14, 01:50 o’clock, the units of Armenian army intensively fired at residential areas and positions in Tartar district using 60, 82 and 120 mm mortars.

Another ceasefire violation came from the positions located in Shikhlar, Javahirli, Sarijali, Kangarli, Novruzlu, Shuraabad, Garagashli, Namirli, Marzili, Yusifjanli villages of Aghdam district, Kuropatkino of Khojavend district, Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, Gorgan, Ashagi Seyidahmadli of Fizuli district, Mehdili of Jabrayil district, as well as on nameless uplands in Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavend, Fizuli and Jabrayil districts.

In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces inflicted 124 strikes on enemy positions.
