Israeli army shells village west of Damascus

The Israeli army has shelled the village of Beit Jann, located west of Damascus.

Axar.az reports, citing Syrian media, that the village was shelled with heavy-caliber rounds from positions in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. There are currently no reports of casualties or the extent of the damage.

Earlier, Israeli forces shelled the village of Maaria in southern Daraa province with heavy machine guns. The attack was accompanied by intensive drone activity.

It should be noted that Damascus has demanded that Israel comply with the 1974 agreement and withdraw its forces from the contact line in the Golan Heights.
