The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet said they killed several Hamas operatives in strikes in the Khan Younis area of the Gaza Strip.

Axar.az reports, citing the IDF, that Muhammad Yazouri, commander of Hamas’ Khan Younis Brigade, was killed in a precise strike on Thursday night.

The same strike also killed Hudheifa Muammar and Muhammad Bahjat Rashi, identified as members of Hamas’ military wing.

In a separate strike, the IDF said it killed Moamen Jabr Al-Sayed Abu Labda, head of a sniper cell in Hamas’ Rafah Brigade.

The IDF said measures were taken to reduce risks to civilians, including precision munitions and aerial surveillance. Israeli troops remain deployed in the area and continue operations against what the IDF describes as immediate threats.
