Armenia must withdraw its troops from the Nagorno-Karabakh region, said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

He made the remarks during the meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Saint Petersburg on June 20, RIA Novosti reported.

Noting the inadmissibility of the status quo in the Nagorno-Karabakh, President Aliyev said that there is still some hope that it will be possible to add constructive dynamic to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
