New details on missile attack at Azerbaijan’s Embassy

New details have emerged regarding the missile attack on Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Ukraine.

Axar.az, citing APA, reports that although there were no casualties or injuries, the explosion caused serious destruction in the area where the embassy is located.

The missile struck the embassy’s fence, damaging more than five vehicles, including a BMW that was heavily affected. Immediately after the incident, embassy staff worked until late at night to replace shattered windows and clean the area.

Ukraine’s law enforcement agencies — the police and the Security Service — arrived at the scene, implemented security measures, collected missile fragments, and placed the area under control.

It should be noted that this is the second attack on Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Kyiv since 2022.

“AnewZ” TV journalists also spoke with a young couple, Lasik and Olena, who live near the embassy. They said the force of the explosion shattered all their apartment windows and caused serious damage to their home. The couple added that they are considering moving because of concerns for the safety of their newborn baby.
