Turkiye condemns Iran’s attacks on Gulf states

"We condemn and reject attacks that disregard civilian lives and target civilian infrastructure," Turkiye's Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, made the remarks while expressing solidarity with Qatar.

Axar.az reports that during a joint press conference in Doha with his Qatari counterpart, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Fidan emphasized that the ongoing war threatens the security of all brotherly countries in the region and deeply undermines stability.

Fidan said that “regardless of the justification, Iran’s attacks on regional countries undermine the foundations of regional stability and are unacceptable,” adding that these attacks benefit neither Iran nor other countries in the region.

Turkiye and Qatar agree on the necessity of keeping dialogue channels open and addressing concerns through negotiation to achieve peace.
