Moscow proposed a quid pro quo to the U.S., offering to stop sharing intelligence with Iran if Washington ceased providing intelligence on Russia to Ukraine.
Axar.az reports, citing Politico, Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev presented this proposal to Trump administration representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner during a meeting in Miami last week.
The U.S. rejected the proposal.
The existence of such a proposal, has raised alarm among European diplomats, who fear Moscow may be attempting to sow division between Europe and the U.S. at a pivotal moment for transatlantic relations.
