Kurtulmush stresses unity amid regional tensions

A lasting peace to be established in the South Caucasus will significantly strengthen regional connectivity.

Axar.az reports that Numan Kurtulmush, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye (TBMM), made these remarks at an international event held in Croatia.

N. Kurtulmush stated that after Azerbaijan restored its territorial integrity, the progress achieved between Azerbaijan and Armenia is a source of satisfaction.

Touching upon the situation in the Middle East, the TBMM Speaker noted that current processes "not only drag the region into instability but also negatively affect Europe's security, economy, and moral standing. Therefore, we must increase our efforts to defend the territorial integrity of all countries in the region."
