The chapter of conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan has been closed, peace has been established, and this peace is already being felt in people's daily lives.

Axar.az reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this.

“Of course, achieving any peace is not easy. Achieving our peace was not easy either. But it is extremely easy to destroy any peace and reduce it to nothing. This can be done in a very short time. And the question is: in such a situation, will it be possible to establish peace again after 35 years?

“Today, many people in [Armenia] — some deliberately and others unknowingly — are acting with the logic of destroying peace. This activity is sometimes hidden behind something that sounds appealing or under the guise of ‘patriotism,’” the prime minister said.

Pashinyan noted that in order to make peace irreversible, it is necessary to stop pursuing issues such as the “return of Armenians of Karabakh":

“This is an issue that must be resolved — for the sake of the right of our future generations to live together in peace. This is precisely the right that we must realize and defend today. We must be able to overcome any rhetoric that contradicts this. I thank President Trump for his invaluable efforts in achieving this peace.
