Aliyev thanks Pezeshkian for kind words about Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has thanked Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian for his kind and sincere remarks about Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that the Azerbaijani president shared the message on his X account.

"Mr. President Masoud Pezeshkian, I thank you for the kind and sincere words you have said about Azerbaijan. The peoples of Azerbaijan and Iran have always stood by each other in difficult and hard times. Against the backdrop of the recent events in our region, it has once again been demonstrated that Azerbaijan stands by the brotherly Iranian people," Aliyev said.
