Astrakhan delegation to visit Azerbaijan

A delegation of Russia's Astrakhan province led by acting governor Sergey Morozov is to visit Azerbaijan.

Axar.az informs citing the press service of the province administration that the visit will take place on December 18-19.

The visit will focus on development of bilateral cooperation, coordination of the implementation of the Agreement between the Government of Astrakhan and the Government of the Azerbaijan Republic on trade and economic, scientific and technical, and cultural cooperation.

It is noted that Astrakhan is interested in intensifying trade relations with Azerbaijan, resuming air communication between Astrakhan and Baku, developing investment cooperation, expanding interaction in tourism and education.
