Our ambassador met with the president of Sri Lanka

Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to India and accredited in the Sri Lanka Democratic Socialist Republic Ashraf Shikhaliyev submitted his credentials to the President of Sri Lanka, Maytripala Sirisen.

Axar.az informs that, ambassador also met with the Sri Lanka ports, Deputy Minister for the development of shipping and southern affairs, Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe, and Chief of the Harbor Administration Kavan Ratnayaka.

Sri Lanka exporters were informed about the advantages of the North-South International Transport Corridor and suggested to consider joining this corridor. The counterpart has accepted the offer with interest.
