Armenian opposition boycotts parliament session -

The opposition boycotted the final four-day session of Armenia’s outgoing parliament, which began on June 16.

Axar.az reports, citing Armenian media, that the parliamentary session is being held solely with the participation of lawmakers from the ruling Civil Contract party.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also attended the sitting.

A "flag" associated with the former separatist regime in Karabakh was placed on seats reserved for opposition lawmakers in the parliamentary chamber.

It should be noted that parliamentary elections were held in Armenia on June 7, with the ruling Civil Contract party securing 49.74% of the vote.
