Yerevan prevents the parallel use of these roads

Despite the agreements reached, Armenia and its puppet regime in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan prevented the simultaneous operation of the Aghdam-Khankendi and Lachin-Khankendi roads from the beginning, proving once again that the situation is not humanitarian, but political in nature.

Axar.az reports that Aykhan Hajizadeh, the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote this on his X account.

"Azerbaijan, as the sole decision-making country on its sovereign land, has for a long time supported the proposal for the simultaneous use of the Aghdam-Khankendi and Lachin-Khankendi roads for the delivery of goods and agreed to the implementation of this proposal in negotiations with experienced partners. Unfortunately, the agreements reached however, Armenia and its puppet regime in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan prevented this from the beginning and proved once again that the situation is political rather than humanitarian. - It is ready to provide parallel use of Khankendi and Lachin-Khankendi roads," he stressed.
