The negotiations in Yevlakh may lead to the conclusion of a peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan, the draft agreement has already been handed over to Armenia.
Axar.az reports that this was said by the representative of the President of Azerbaijan on special tasks, Elchin Amirbeyov, on the air of the "Sky News Arabia" TV channel.
"Formats of reintegration of Karabakh Armenians were discussed at the meeting. We think that this dialogue can have a positive effect on the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The two countries have started discussing a peace treaty that will end decades of crisis and enmity," Amirbeyov said.
According to him, the peace agreement will consist of five points based on international law, in particular, both countries will undertake not to interfere in each other's affairs:
"We have given the draft peace agreement to the Armenian side, we are waiting for their reaction. A separate agreement with Karabakh Armenians is not required."
